Dear Parents and Community Members:
It is a pleasure to return to Hilltop High School after an absence of four years.
Hilltop High School, recognized as a 2005 California Distinguished School,
possesses a fine tradition of academic excellence and Lancer Pride. Our
outstanding Foreign Language and Global Studies (FLAGS) Program has received
Specialized Secondary School recognition and helps to broaden learning experiences
for students and staff members. Our School-to-Career Programs, Hospitality
and Tourism Academy, Information Technology Academy, Music Technology and
Video Productions are enhanced with grant funds
and prepare students for the world of work, ranging from entry level careers
to those requiring post secondary degrees. Hilltop High School has established
a School of Animation which integrates the arts and academics to expand career
path options for Hilltop High School students. Hilltop High School offers
students a unique opportunity to participate in a multitude of academic programs,
athletics, and extra-curricular activities, while acquiring practical skills
that will prepare them for life in the 21st Century.
Using a variety
of education reform strategies, Hilltop High School students learn
the value of cultural diversity and the importance of mutual
understanding and develop the ability to reduce conflict through communication.
