Attention Seniors - Class of 2007 SDSU Applicants

I wanted to contact everyone to let you know that we have sent out an e-mail to a few thousand students who's application was incomplete due to missing or unclear information on their initial application.

(sample e-mail)

Dear Student (for example),

Thank you for applying to San Diego State University.

Your application is either missing information or you have reported courses that do not satisfy the requirements for admission to a California State University.

To correct your admission application, you will first need to create an SDSU WebPortal account at

(if you have not already done so). Once in the portal,

click on "Admission Status Check" to begin making corrections.

To ensure that you provide accurate information, you need to refer to your academic transcripts (including fall 2006 grades) and test scores.

If you do not provide the information by January 16, 2007, we will assume you do not plan to attend SDSU and your application will be denied.

Please contact the Office of Admissions at (619) 594-6336 or admissions@sdsu.edu if you have questions.

Students will also be receiving a postcard, in case they are not checking their e-mail. As you can see from the message above, the instructions ask the student to log into their WebPortal Account and complete the Incomplete Application by January 16th.

If you have any students who have questions about what we are asking, have them call the Prospective Student Center at (619)594-6336.

We will be open today and tomorrow until 6pm, Friday until 4pm and Monday, Dec. 18th-22nd until 4:30 pm.
