Counselor Notes: The Eighth Annual African American Student/Parent Conference

The Eighth Annual African American Student/Parent Conference is coming up soon! Mark your calendars for February 2, 2008, from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Otay Ranch High School.

This year's theme is " A Walk Through the History of Black Music". Conference Workshops offer something for all ages, middle school through parents, all free of cost.

Also included is bus transportation from the nearest Jr./Middle or High School, music, entertainment, food, an exciting keynote speaker and most importantly, timely information for students and their families.

Conference Registration forms will be delivered to your counseling offices on January 14, 2008 and picked up on January 18, 2008. Early registration is encouraged so students will be able to attend their first choice of workshops.
