The south Bay Family YMCA invites you to be a tutor in the Y reads.

What is this about? Tutoring 6th graders behind in credits

What do I need? Tutors need to have a "B" or higher in English. Bilingual tutors are also needed.

Do I need experience? Not at all - but if you have experience that is a plus.

Do I need to make a committment? Yes you do - one (1) hour a week for 12 weeks.

Yes you can tutor around your sports, work, or school program.

How to sign up? Go to South Bay Family YMCA Teen Center at 820 Paseo Ranchero and fill out a Literacy program participant registration form.
