FACULTY SECTION
PLC TIDBITS OF THE DAY: Thing about the enormity of our task: we must educate the whole child; we must attend to the child's daily needs; we must prepare students for all possible futures; we must meet the needs of ALL students; we must meet the needs of multiple stakeholders with differing expectations; we must be accountable to our government....When these demands are viewed collectively, it's no wonder educators feel as though they are under attack. It's also a testament to educational practices that we have been able to accomplish as much as we have considering the enormity of the challenge. The ability to meet these demands---and do them ALL well, at the same time, for a sustainable period---is well beyond the capacity of most current educational systems. In recent years, however, some schools and districts across the country have discovered new ways to work together that fundamentally increase their capacity to learn and grow. (Radford)
ATTENTION FACULTY & STAFF: Attached is a revised copy of students who need to turn in their name confirmation blue slips. Please remind them that it is very important that this form be turned in to Ms. Arredondo in the Counseling Center as soon as possible. Thank you. (Arredondo)
ATTTENTION CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES: Summer school applications for classified employees are in and they must be returned no later than March 14, 2008. (L. Ocampo)
All certificated personnel are invited to attend Data Director training on March 4 and 5 during prep periods in room 302. Data Director will eventually replace Student Explorer. The training will be conducted by Ed Tech staff. Please let me know if you have any questions. (Lawlor)
