SCHOOL WISDOM OF THE DAY: Young children enjoy rewards while staying home from school because of illness: more attention from parents, small treats, more TV, a safe place to be, etc…Often older “children” see similar “rewards” through frequent “illnesses”. It’s time to grow up. (Radford)

SENIORS: Southwestern Community College will be hosting a tour of the campus for seniors who will attending next year on May 7th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Please pick up permission slips in the counseling office, they must be returned to Mrs. Harken by Friday April 25th! (Harken)

LANCERS: The Sweetwater District Art Show is currently hanging at the South Chula Vista library on 4th and Orange until TOMORROW, April 11th. Hilltop has several student participants. It is definitely worth seeing! (Huls)

SENIORS: If you are planning to attend a California State University (CSU) for FALL 2008, you must take one or both of the placement tests, ELM/EPT. You may register at www.sdsu.edu/testofc/.
