Swim & Dive - Freshman Eira Perez De La Torre Receives Special Recognition.

Lancer Freshman Swimming Sensation, Eira Perez De La Torre has received coverage in newspapers, Has dominated in the waters and now, has been recognized as one of the South Bay League's most dominant Freshman swimmers of all time. Eira has accomplished something this year that does not happen too often in swim. She has gone undefeated in both her individual events through the entire season. We have had the occasional swimmer who might go undefeated through league competitions, but who will drop an event while competing in non-league matches against the big schools. For Eira, she's won them all, a major feat in itself. What makes this story even more special, is the fact that Eira is only a Freshman, she still has three more years of high school competitions ahead of her.
