JUNIORS - Class of 2009: As per the district office Community Service handbook and the Hilltop High handbook, your 30 hours of community service are to be completed at the end of your junior year. The hours are to be turned in to your U.S. History teacher, who will enter them on the scan sheets provided with grades at the end of this semester.
If you do not have your hours completed by the end of this year, do your best to complete them over the summer and have the forms ready for your first semester Gov/Econ teacher next year. They will be entered on the scan sheets provided with grades at the end of the semester.
If you do not have your hours completed by the end of the first semester next year, be aware that there will not be another community hours scan sheet until the second six week grade report of the second semester.
There will be no other opportunities provided to enter your hours in the computer next year. Please plan accordingly.

JUNIORS- Class of 2009 - Senior Photos - You will be receiving a post card from Chula Vista Photo very shortly with your photo appointment date. Please plan to meet this appointment as they have many schools that they take senior photos for. If you know that you are going to be gone sometime over the summer, please call them right away and make arrangements to have your appointment when you are here. Chula Vista Photo provides the outfit to wear in the photo. All you need to worry about is hair and (girls) makeup. Be aware that Chula Vista Photo and Hilltop High have an agreement as to what will not be allowed in the photos. You may have the extras in those you wish to purchase, but the one for the yearbook will be of the formal setting.
Summer Pictures - Every year the yearbook staff asks for special summer photos. This year they are asking you again. Please send that special summer photo to hhs00273@netscape.net. We will remind you once in the fall. If we do not have a collection of photos this coming year, by the second week of school, we will not have those pages in your yearbook. Help us make this next book, your book, another great one.
Finally - Next year is the 50th edition of the yearbook. It will be a special one. Plan ahead and purchase the senior package during orientation to insure that your get one of our "golden anniversary" editions.
