| Integration of technology into
the teaching/learning process is a key component to maximize student achievement
through the Hilltop High School's Digital High School Plan. Cynthia
Gardner, a TechPreps Facilitator in the Educational Technology Office,
serves as the HHS DHS computer "coach" providing a schedule
of on-site workshops and individual coaching sessions during prep periods
on Wednesdays from December through May. |

Workshops:
When a workshop is scheduled, a flyer identifying the date, topic, and
location will be distributed one week in advance. Staff members do
not need to sign up for a workshop. Arrive within the first 5 minutes
of the beginning of the prep period and bring relevant materials with you.

Individual
Coaching Sessions: When a coaching session is scheduled,
two 20-minute sessions will be scheduled during each prep period.

Confirmation will be sent
to the school by return FAX or to individuals by email. Staff members
may also sign up on the appointment sheet posted on the front counter in
the main office the morning of the scheduled coaching day.

Evaluation:
Participants receive a TechPrepsevaluation form after each workshop
or individual coaching session. Input is critical to determine the
need for and effectiveness ofTechPreps.
