Coach Roelof comes to the position with rich and varied experience including two years as an intern for the New England Patriots that included successful trips to Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX. His coaching experience has focused on the offense but Coach Roelof served as a defensive assistant at Hilltop in 2007. This is Coach Roelof's first experience as a football head coach.

Coach Roelof is excited to take over a program on the upswing, "I'm extremly excited about becoming the head coach here at Hilltop. The team took a big step forward last year and I hope to build upon their acheivements from last season. I can't wait for spring ball to start up."

According to Zamudio, "The most important thing is to select a staff member who will have regular contact with our students". Coach Roelof succeeds Mark Flint who left the position for family reasons.

In his third year as a Hilltop teacher, Cody Roelof has a B.S. in Information Technology from National University and an M.A. in Education from the University of Phoenix. http://www.hilltoplancers.org/viewstory.php?id=2901 {[119]}Hilltop Field Hockey Coach Lynn Garcia has been named 2009 West Sectional Field Hockey Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations(HFHS). The West Section includesthe states of Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah. The NFHS Coaches Association is the official national coaches association of the National Federation of State High School Associations.
